The memory of traveling to a city in a different country for the first time, will always linger in my mind. I didn’t know what to expect leaving California for the first time, but I could not have been happier to have my passport in hand and my suitcase in the other. To have landed in this foreign place alone at 21, I never felt so free or so high on life. There are places in the world that we sort of build our fantasy and expectations around before we ever journey there and London is one of those places.
The association to scent here is a strong one and the city luxe is ever present with so much to offer from art galleries, theaters, and trendy shopping boutiques to the decadence of the Buckingham Palace or to some of the finest tea houses around. London is a magical city and a fragrant one at that and it’s no wonder why a fragrance can recall all of those memories and feelings of a time and a place. It truly is a city that can swallow you right up and immerse you in it’s atmosphere which is as thick as it’s fog.
