Products I Lived By This Summer

This summer the heat has been turned all the way up and there were a few products not far from my grasp or in my handbag!

Cleanse

I’ll start with cleansing. This has been my favorite budget buy of excellent quality. I feel like just thinking about the heat is making me feel sweaty and gross. I’ve loved using this cleanser by Botanics All Bright Cleansing Foam Wash. It’s a really good clean down to the pore kind of cleanse except it won’t strip your face of moisture. It lathers beautifully and I’ve even used it as body wash several times. A little goes a long way and I will continue to repurchase this one.

Treat

I know I’ve already talked about this in another post, but MD Measurable Difference Vitamin C Serum is bae. I kept my skin care regimen pretty simple in the summer heat, but didn’t want to leave out my vitamin C serum. While I’ve been enjoying fun in the sun, this stuff is working to prevent sun damage and I’m oh so grateful.

Moisturize + Protect

I’ve been living for my Bio-Oil these summer months. It’s been way too hot for anything heavy and so I used an oil in place of a moisturizer. I love this one because I can pretty much use it anywhere on my face and body and not break out.

Palmer’s Coco Butter Eventone Suncare is the next product has been my go to SPF because it moisturizes like nothing else. It’s possibly the best sun block I’ve come across. There’s zero white residue, it doesn’t fee heavy or grimy and it leaves you with a bit of glow as well as a more even toned tan as the name suggests. To someone on the oilier side it may be a tad greasy and you might want something more mattefying, but I have dry skin and I appreciated the glow and moisture. No complaints.

Lastly my hair is always so dry and brittle in the summer, especially if I wear it natural and curly so I’ve been so happy to have found this Argan oil. With a spritz of water combined with the oil, hair felt softer and hydrated.
