10 Minute High-Intensity Interval Training Workout For The Gal With No Time

So I’ve decided I’d like to start a series on High-Intensity Interval Training. Some days a full session at the gym just doesn’t seem feasible. We all have our reasons that go beyond just not wanting to work out. Some of us busy gals don’t actually have time for a full gym session during the work week. And others find the idea of a full hour at the gym a chore at the end of a long day. So I decided that I would start sharing some great High-Intensity Interval Training Workouts that will only take up 10 minutes of your time, but make you feel like you’ve been at the gym all day!

What Is HIIT?!

So what exactly is High-Intensity Interval Training or HIIT workout? Well imagine your best most intense workout at the gym. The blood is coursing through your body, your heart race is going 100 miles a minute, you can hardly catch your breath and you’ve never felt more accomplished! Now imagine that in a short span of time, in very short bursts of high impactful action and with low-intensity recovery.

I actually really grew to love HIIT a few years back when a friend introduced me to it. At that time I considered it an accomplishment alone just making it to the gym daily. Suffice it to say in the 10 minutes of HIIT with my friend—I quickly realized that an entire year of me walking on the treadmill for an hour couldn’t compare to 10 minutes of HIIT!

No Excuses!

The great thing about these exercises is that they don’t exactly require you to go to a gym. You can actually do these HIIT from the comfort of your living room. Since we vowed to be more serious about our fitness in 2020, there won’t be anymore excuses to not achieving our fitgirl dreams! I will be following along with you on your fitness journey and workout routine helping you out with different HIIT exercises. You can frequently check out my page here for more posts.
