2020 Favorite Ready To Wear Looks Off The Runway

2020 Favorite Ready To Wear Looks Off The Runway

I don’t know about anyone else, but the runway looks of Fashion Week 2020 have got me sighing with heavy fashion and styling inspiration. New York, London and Milan Fashion week are out of the way, but Paris fashion week is still in session so the shows aren’t over quite yet. But I’ve already fallen in love with several ready-to-wear collections and they are hot, hot, hot right off the runway!

My Top Picks From The Runway

I have to say that Isabel Marant has been one of my all time favorite designers. Her fashion aesthetics always leaned toward chic, cool girl. It’s definitely my fashion inspiration and aspiration these days for sure. I often find that Isabel Marant’s Ready-To-Wear collection tend to be quite versatile. Here are a few of the collection looks that hit the runway this Fashion Week. Can we agree that voluminous shoulders are still everything?

Erdem

A designer that I’ve been scoping out lately and am actually quite fascinated with is Erdem. I absolutely love that he likes to draw his inspiration for these collections from people. This one was inspired by an intriguing figure herself, Tina Modotti of the early 1900s. Tina an Italian model, photography, actress and eventually an activist seemed to be as multifaceted as any women would want to be. Romantic to revolution, I do see that reflected in his collection and this fusion is exactly what I love. The silhouettes of the garments speak to femininity in a quiet confident, strong sort of a way in my opinion, but still there’s plenty of romance.

Chloé

If there’s one thing that I love the most about designer Chloé it’s that you have the option to be any kind of Chloé girl you want. Again there’s a lot of versatility in this collection and that is something that always attracts me. There’s the romantic youthful playfulness, but then also the duality of tailored garments. I love seeing the juxtaposition of both.

Missoni

I think if there’s one thing that stands out the most from Missoni’s general vibe, it’s the talent the designer has for patterns, knits and prints. This time it seems to be a bit darker in mood. And I looooove that!  Even the men’s ready to wear was absolutely stunning! The color palette was right up my street.

Let me know what some of your favorite collections are this year! Also Harper’s Bazaar does a cool on the actual trends that hit the runway if you’re interested in learning about what’s in this Spring. I’m not a hardcore trend stickler, but I can appreciate them from time to time especially when they speak to my own personal aesthetic and style.
