33 Best Travel Experiences

Since I’m turning 33, I thought I would share 33 best travel experiences over the years. This particular birthday doesn’t feel all that big to me, but when I think about all I’ve experienced so far, I feel pretty grateful. If there’s one thing that I’m certain of in all of the years I’ve been alive, it’s that I’ve had a lot of wonderful experiences traveling. I figured what better way to celebrate my birthday today then to post about my favorite topic. Travel.

33 Favorite Travel Experiences

1. My first 3 nights outside of the country dolo in a ritzy London hotel
2. Having a sunny breakfast in an English garden in London
3. Studying abroad in Siena Italy and making life long friends
4. Morning walks to my favorite cafes and perfumerias in Siena
5. Countless nights drinking wine in the Piazza del Campo in Siena
6. Seeing snowfall for the first time in Milan Italy
7. Nights at the Tea Room in Siena with friends
8. Experiencing a 24 hour all-nighter for Carnivale in Venice Italy
9. Wandering all over Vienna Austria on a solo coffee tour (I lost my friends that day lol and I learned how to use the subway)
10. Taking a random trip to Timisoara Romania with some girlfriends
11. Being driven by a sketchy cab in Timisoara in the dead of night to the middle of nowhere to a nightclub called Heaven Studios. Suddenly, out of the darkness came a galloping bejeweled white stallion! No joke.
12. Traveling in Europe for 6 weeks post grad with a bestie
13. Randomly running into said bestie right outside of the Piccadilly Square because we planned our meetups for this trip badly
14. Being front row at a One Republic concert with my best friend in Paris and having them spotlight us two gals from California (also touching Ryan Tedder’s pinky finger)
15. Running into a college friend under the Eiffel Tower (I ran into this friend randomly in several cities fyi)
16. Eating baguettes and cheese + strolling through Parisian gardens
17. Walking right by Jermaine Jackson on the Champs-Élysées
18. Having rooftop drinks in the summer night in Athens Greece
19. Joining in on a group of students from Spain. We paraded through the streets of Siena Italy all while drinking way too much
20. Staying in a bungalow by the sea and bar hopping in Mykonos
21. Chocolate tour in Costa Rica where we made a new friend and rearranged our trip
22. Going zip lining in Monte Verde Costa Rica
23. Parasailing in Manuel Antonio Costa Rica
24. Staying in an amazing treehouse in Manuel Antonio
25. Playing cards in an airplane turned bar in Manuel Antonio
26. First trip and dip in the Amalfi coast in Positano Italy
27. Sitting at a café eating hot soup overlooking the Swiss Alps
28. Riding ATVs in sand dunes in Ensenada Mexico
29. Meeting extended family for the first time in Lund Sweden
30. Going out dancing in Edinburgh Scotland after a days tour of the city’s legends and magical history
31. Experiencing young love/romance in several Italian cities hehe
32. Walking in the rain all over Dublin Ireland
33. Having a personal photo shoot with my sister at the Royal Palace in Stockholm Sweden
