I realize the older I get the less time I have for myself. The stresses of everyday can really build up when you’re someone that values your alone time, but haven’t had any real time to unwind in a while. So lately I’ve been making that time for myself in the evenings when I can. There is no better way to spend alone time like when having a bubble bath.
Oh yea if you tend to be the type to have guilt when taking a long unproductive, bubble bath–you can just leave that on the floor along with your clothes. Bubble baths are inherently long as they’re meant to be. And they are an amazing way to de-stress and relax which is incredibly important for your well being. Enjoy your bubble bath, you would be surprised how much it helps.
I love turning the lights down as dim as possible once I’ve lit ohhh I’d say about 4 candles. I also love using candles that compliment each other and the bubble bath. Magic Moss Soy Candle is one of my faves and goes amazingly well with my Eucalyptus + Mint bubble bath for a completely relaxing bath. This is also a great time to apply your favorite hair mask as you soak. Lastly grab your favorite drink and book or show on your iPad and enjoy you time!
