#1 Bloome & Plume:

A coffee shop but also a bespoke floral design studio in Echo Park, Bloome & Plume offers signature drinks like the “Butterfly Pea Latte” and the “Blood Orange Cold Brew”. This organic coffee roaster and creative studio is a great place for specialty brews, pastries, and vegan pastries and is as vibrant a space as it’s owner Maurice Harris who is also a local artist. Founded in 2018 in an effort to take a stand against discrimination and to provide a community space for people of her community to enjoy good coffee. This is not only a black owned coffee shop, but it’s also women owned and is a great spot to get your locally roasted caffeine fix and join the movement against inequality.

Located in Venice Beach, this flower studio/coffee shop is a great spot for grabbing specialty drinks like their lavender boy or dirty rose girl latte. Did we mention you can also buy beautiful flower arrangements? Flowerboy has created a space that appreciates the ritual of everyday moments.

#8 Hot And Cool Cafe:

In one of Crenshaw’s neighborhood locals favorite coffee shop spot for a Berry White and  Maple Brown Sugar Latte. They’re also making efforts partnering with Made In South LA an organization worth to train underserved youth of the community for high level positions.
