So I’ve recently introduced the CalPak carry on luggage to my traveling arsenal. At this point in my traveling career, I’ve learned a lot about how to pack more efficiently and more importantly – what type of carry-on luggage I’ll be traveling with. I wanted something easy, efficient, and stylish this time around. Luckily I was able to find my perfect carry-on luggage for my trip to Sweden.
Adventure Or Leisure?
You’ve got your more adventurous type of trips that require a bit more freedom as far as your hands are concerned. You definitely don’t want to be backpacking across South America with any sort of hand held luggage. Not unless you like to suffer. Then you’ve got your more relaxed trips that lean a bit more to leisure and style. Well at least that’s what I think of when I think of Europe.
I absolutely loved my CalPak carry-on luggage on my most recent trip to Sweden. I knew that this time around I wanted a hard-shelled carry-on luggage that would be light-weight, but large enough for at least a week’s worth of clothes. After checking out a few different brands, I made my decision pretty quickly when I came across this beauty.
I already knew CalPak was a great brand, but there are a few things I was particularly pleased about. For starters, I love dark but vibrant colors and this dark green spoke to me. Secondly the easy smooth multi-directional spinner wheels made for easy moving. This particular luggage, I noticed had a USB port to connect your portable charger too, another plus. And lastly I loved the TSA approved combination lock.
As far as the compartmental features, there are two main packing compartments on each side that is separated by zippered dividers. There are also zippered meshed accessory pockets as well as elasticated pockets that made packing so easy. Even more importantly, if for whatever reason you need to access your carry-on at the airport, it’ll be pretty hard to have your stuff flying about since everything is so perfectly compartmentalized.
And finally, the luggage is expandable meaning if you plan on doing some shopping abroad, you’ve got more space! I’m so happy I made the investment in this stylish piece for this trip. I had plenty of space for a week’s worth of outfits, a plush furry coat, a pair of boots and two small toiletries bags, a camera and a purse. And the best part is I didn’t look like a hot mess getting of the plane. Success!
