(HIIT) Interval Training Workout With Jump Rope

(HIIT) Interval Training Workout With Jump Rope

In the midst of the oh so terrifying pandemic that is plaguing the world at the moment, I’m avoiding the hell out of crowded places. And I’m back to sharing some more High Intensity Interval Training Workouts. Now my gym doesn’t ever seem to get too crowded, but I thought I might share some HIIT exercises incorporating the jump rope that you can do away from people. This is a short and sweet interval training workout regimen that will be just as effective as your workout out at the gym.

In the past, I would never associate working out as being fun. I never could wait to get my workout over with. But lately I’ve been trying new high intensity interval training exercises and it’s been fun. For starters the exercise variations with hiit are endless. There are hiit workouts for just about any part of your body you are tying to target and the great thing is that you only need your body for the most part.

Workout But Make It Fun

This week I went and bought myself a jump rope and incorporated some high impact exercises with jumping rope. Jumping rope itself is an insanely good calorie burner. It’s no wonder all the leanest people at the gym jump rope. I mean it really is an all over full body workout. If your jump rope is anything like mine, weighted–then you will really feel the burn in your arms and legs. It is so good.

I find that I can jump rope for quite a while before needing a break. It’s actually so fun. Jumping rope is already one of the best exercises to trim down the fat and strengthen legs. I really like to switch up how I jump rope in between each of these exercises. I’m a fan of both interchanging the one leg hop and lateral jumps where you jump rope with both feet together at a fast pace.

Hey! Good post. I love jump rope. Just the other day, in one facebook group, someone asked to describe one’s self (when stressed) using an emoji and I typed this ➰. I said it was a jump rope because I skip when I’m stressed. It’s fun, right? Thank you for this post! Excited to try this challenge. 🙂
