So I’ve decided to kick off the week with a 7 day challenge! Last week was rough. We were already well into the COVID blues and I was really going through it in the quarantine, self-isolating blues. I felt little to no motivation or even inspiration most days as I’m sure most of you are probably feeling the same. So what I told myself was that I needed something, some plan to do one thing each day next week to make me feel less like a…zombie. This challenge isn’t about being productive so to speak. It’s more about letting yourself ease into a more relaxed “normal” state of being and letting go of any pressure you might be feeling.
Get Good At Sleeping
Monday should be easy, it’s just about getting proper rest! Hopefully you slept well the night before because as we all know, Mondays can be a lot. I know for at least myself, it’s the busiest day of my week. I’m usually required to be on GO mode all day. So it’s actually quite necessary that I try to get an adequate amount of sleep.
Going to sleep early usually means, I’ll be up and out of bed with a start. As opposed to slamming on the snooze button or tossing my phone across the room. On the occasion that I do get enough sleep the night before, getting up early feels great. I’ll make my bed, make my breakfast, have my coffee and spend the morning getting ready for work in a relaxed manner. This usually means sipping on my coffee as I apply my skin care and makeup while watching some beauty gurus on YouTube.
When Everything Goes Wrong, Go To Sleep
Lastly on this day I’m going to try something different and go to sleep early. In my mind getting enough rest on a Sunday night gets me ready for the week ahead of me. However, getting enough sleep every night is pretty important to how one functions. And in an effort to be more relaxed this week, I want to stick to getting plenty of rest. So getting to bed early!
In an effort to make up for last week’s absence, I’ll be posting each day of this 7 Days of Chill Challenge so be sure to keep a look out! If you want to get a notification in your inbox and join along, be sure to subscribe to this little blog.

Lol! It’s hard for sure, if I hit snooze and close my eyes for an extra five minutes, suddenly I’m late for work!
My job has made it impossible for me to sleep in even on the weekends & I love waking up early now because I feel so much more productive! (It’s so beneficial once you get used to it) Lol!
Honestly I absolutely love how well I sleep. I always wake up around the same time regardless of how early or late I sleep. It’s so important to value it! <33
I love these little ideas. They can really make a big difference!
Yes I absolutely love that I sleep well. I always wake up around the same time regardless of how early or late I sleep, I really value it. ^^
“When everything goes wrong, go to sleep” I like that! I may have to take that advice too – sometimes we just need to restart ourselves like a computer!

Haha sleep always sounds like a good idea!
Great little tips, I try to go to bed at the same time each night because I feel so off the next morning if I stay up late. Getting enough sleep is so important!

That’s smart!
I definitely have the problem of not sleeping on time (i.e. look at when this comment was left lol) but I’m gonna give this a try! I definitely have a better and refreshed day after a good night’s rest.

It’s always good to challenge ourselves!
Sleep is so important to both our physical and mental health. I’m excited to see what other ways we can challenge ourselves throughout the week.
