On a recent trip to Scandinavia, and I mean recent, like last week—I picked up a few items that I am already excited to share! Skin care from Sweden has always been of interest to me. Luckily I was able to grab a few bits.
Scandinavia Skin Care Haul
This is not so much of a review as it is just me being excited about some purchases from Scandaniva. In general skincare in Sweden makes me giddy! Maybe it’s due to the cold winter weather, but I tend to believe that their products are geared towards dry chapped skin which is no stranger to me and in turn what that usually means is really hydrating products. Because I traveled light with a carry-on I only picked up a few items this time. And yes I did find some goodies in good old Scandinavia.
Löwengrip Healthy Glow Hand Balm

First Impressions: It has a wonderful texture and immediately makes my skin feel and appear smoother and hydrated. I was sold when I read the bit about UV protection because that’s not all that common. I also love that it’s also sort of a treatment product for my hands. I will be repurchasing this product I just know it!
Avene Cold Cream
Claims: Rich and creamy, Cold Cream is formulated with the purest ingredients to offer intense hydration, maintain the skin’s suppleness, and soothe the drying effects of environmental aggressors.
First Impressions: Avene is a brand that has been well trusted to deliver for as long as I can remmeber so I definitely wanted to purchase what I feel would be a multipurpose moisturizer. This cold cream conveniently comes in a tube making it super easy to apply wherever I need it. The consistency is thicker than just a moisturizer so it instantly hydrates my skin.
ACO Apotekens Smoothing Anti-Aging Eye Cream
Claims: Reduces fine lines and wrinkles. For a smoother looking skin. Unfragranced.
First Impressions: I was able to try out this product in the store before purchasing and I have to say I love that it is fragrance free! It does a nice job of moisturizing my under eye for now.
NIVEA MicellAIR Gel Oil-Free
Claims: Gently and effectively removes makeup from the eyes. Moisturizes and cares for the delicate area of the eyes. Suitable for all skin types
First Impressions: I fell in love with this micellar immediately. The makeup came off quicker than when I’ve used any other micellar waters and leaves my skin still hydrated!
