Pore Tightening Foam Mask

Pore Tightening Foam Mask

I’ve seen this Diy mask circulating from Farah Dhukai social media as a good and cheap diy to tighten your pores so I decided to give it a try to see if it would work.

Pore Tightening Foam Mask

Ingredients:

One Egg White
1 Tbsp of Sugar
1 Whisk

The diy calls for just one egg white a table spoon of sugar and it states to definitely use either a ceramic or metal bowl because plastic won’t allow for the mixture to foam up. I used a ceramic bowl and whisked the egg white and sugar away until the mixture turned foamy. And this is going to take a lot of arm work unless you have an electric whisk. I didn’t. Sigh.

Once you have the consistency so that it’s not so runny, place it on your face and leave it on for about 15 minutes. Egg whites have  astringent properties making your pores appear smaller and tighter while apparently  sugar has some glycolic properties naturally which I didn’t know.  When your 15 minutes are up, rub in the mixture a bit and wash off.

This diy one is a great one! This mask left my face feeling smoother and my pores definitely look cleaner and smaller.

This last step is a personal preference but I added a light moisturizer for hydration.
