This is probably the one product I’ve ever used that worked almost immediately! I hardly ever break out, but when I do it’s in my t-zone and my chin area which is where I get more oily in my very combination skin.
I’ve used other products from this line, but never anything from their acne range. Typically I don’t use anything for acne because typically I get one or two pimples and I know they’ll go away in a matter of days. But this time I broke up all over my chin and above my lip and my t-zone. Like seriously wtf? I didn’t even break out this much in high school, so I’m going to attribute this terrible skin period to the unbearable, indefinite heat wave! I may have used a heavier cream sometime that week which I actually have not been doing all summer. Since the rise of the temperature I’ve been using a light oil in place of a moisturizer and lightly patting it onto my face.
So anyway I was breaking out bad and I needed a topical treatment. Skin+Pharmacy Advanced Acne Therapy Spot Treatment which is exclusive to CVS Pharmacy–has such a great acne range from what I can tell from the reviews. But I tried the treatment which has 5% benzoyl peroxide which is suppose to be the highest amount in over the counter products. And yes it is. It dries your skin out like nothing else so only use this on the spots your trying to get rid of. This is most definitely a five star product for me because not only does it work, but it works overnight! The pimples around my chin and above my lip totally disappeared by morning. Since then I have broken out a couple more times and this stuff performed the same exact way. I cannot recommend this more, it’s a must have!
