The One- I Keep Coming Back To Year After Year

The One- I Keep Coming Back To Year After Year

There are many fragrances that I adore. It’s safe to say that I’m a fragrance junkie, which explains why I got into making my own fragranced candles.  I find it exciting coming up on new scents and always try to relish in the moment I find a scent that I love so I can remember the feeling. But while I’ve come across many new fragrances over the years the one I can’t seem to stay away from this time of the year is Dolce & Gabana-The One.

I’ll tell you what I experience with this fragrance and see how far off I am to the actual description  on the website. At first sniff immediately feel that this is a full bodied perfume. It’s absolutely sensual in that it’s got a bit of a sweet spiceness which is everything that I love in a fragrance. When I take my wrist to my nose again I smell some citrus as well which actually I never really noticed before.

It’s my perfect perfume for the fall and winter season and always makes me feel somewhat sultry, but cozy at the same time if that makes any sense at all. It is most definitely not a fragrance that I reach for in the hotter months, but fall and winter—oh yea I’ve got a rollerball and it’s in my bag. If you’re into sensual scents I would highly recommend this one—The One, hands down.

By the looks of the description on Sephora’s website—it looks like I’m not far off at all!

The One is a warm, oriental floral, with modern sensuality - a fragrance with a strong personality, and a contrasting golden sweetness. Created for the ultimate diva, The One is at once tempting, modern, and glamorous, embracing a touch of classicism. The top notes radiate a vibrant luminosity, with a sun-touched citrus, while warm fruity notes of luscious lychee and succulent peach add to the delight. The passionate heart evokes an exploding femininity, with an opulent floral soul, creating a distinct, audacious signature. An unexpected hint of plum glows as the base finally blooms with luscious allure into the lasting warmth of vanilla and sweetened ambery-musk notes.
