Let’s Carry-On With The Essentials!
If you are at a loss when it comes to packing your carry-on essentials, then you’ve come to the right spot! Packing can be somewhat of a drag in general, but some people seem to glide through their entire experience to their travel destination with such ease. Well that’s because they’ve managed to consolidate their carry-on bags to include just the necessities. What Are The In-flight Necessities?
Well I guess that would depend who you’re asking right. Everyone is different and what they find to be a must-have when traveling will vary. However, this is specially for my girls who like to indulge in a little bit of mid-air self-care!
#1 Base Culture Cashew Butter Blondies
It’s always good to get on a plane fully prepared with snacks in your carry-on essentials first and foremost. If you’re anything like me then finding snacks that are relatively healthy and still fit within any dietary restrictions can be challenging. Don’t expect to find very many health snacks in-flight either. That’s why you gotta come prepared with something that is guilt-free and delicious in your carry-on. Base Culture has quickly become one of my favorite healthy food brands out there! I fell hard for their Cashew Butter Blondies that are not only unreal, but their paleo, gluten free, grain free, soy free and low in sugar. I will never get on another flight without including Base Culture Blondies in my travel essentials list.
#2 Busy Co REFRESH
As a woman, there is no better feeling than feeling completely fresh on and off a plane. Whether you are in a short flight or a long-haul flight; you’re going to want to include Busy Co REFRESH Wipes in your travelling must haves. Busy Co is an on the go dream with their individual packaged wipes. With a range of product, you’ll be covered whether you need deodorant wipes to feminine wipes, disinfecting wipes and even XL body wipes!
#3 Versed Day Dissolve Cleansing Balm
If you want really want to travel like a pro jettsetter than you’re going to have to get your in-flight skin care down to a science. Skin care is right up there at the top of my must haves for traveling. One of my favorite things to do on a flight is in fact my in-flight skin care regimen. This typically consists of cleansing, using some sort of hydrating mask, and then protecting it with SPF. Now you can of course stick to your skin care favorites and I myself like to pack only my favorites on a trip. However, I do have to give an honorable mention to a few skin care brands that are a no-brainer when it comes to carry-on essentials. Versed is a budget brand with a wealth of skin care goodies and you might want to check them out. Versed Day Dissolve Cleansing Balm is one of my favorites and definitely on my list of travel essentials for a clean and prepped face.
#4 Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask
Next Up is the Summer Fridays JetLag mask. No surprise there, this hydrating face mask is one of the hottest products to pack in your carry-on essentials. As I said I usually will opt for a hydrating mask in-flight, especially because of the dry recycled air on the plane.
#5 Lait Creme Concentrate Cream
Another cult favorite is Embroylisse Lait Creme Concentrate Cream. A makeup artist favorite, the first time I heard about this was Pixiwoo’s Sam Chapman. Toting it as a wonderful moisturizer base for makeup, this French skin care brand is ultra rich and super moisturizing yet classically French and gentle.
#6 Remedy Conditioning Lip Balm
I absolutely never pack a bag let alone a carry-on bag without my Beneath Your Mask Remedy Conditioning Lip Balm. It’s genuinely nourishes your lips and doesn’t leave a film whatsoever. It’s definitely more of a treatment than just a lip so it feels extra luxurious. Once I tried this lip balm, I’ve never looked back. Oh and bonus points they’re a black owned brand!
#7 Patchology FlashPatch Rejuvenating Eye Gels
While a sleeping mask is an essential must have in your carry-on, hydrating eye gel undereye masks are also a must have! Patchology make my favorite eye mask point blank! They always leave me looing well rested and smooth.
#8 Pink Travel Set
Not all flights are created equal and that might mean you’ll be stuck on an overnight flight without a pillow. Well luckily Slip make the chicest travel set perfect for much needed beauty sleep on the go. Created with luxurious mulberry silk, you’ll feel like you’re traveling first class no matter where you sit!

If you’re always on the go then you’ll be sure put these on your list of travel essentials.
