Worth The Hype? (Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara)

Worth The Hype? (Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara)

If you’re like me you won’t spend a hard earned penny on a beauty product that hasn’t been reviewed. Because frankly it’s 2017 and if it hasn’t been talked about, it isn’t on the map and isn’t worth being on the social map. But is that actually true? Is the value of a product equivalent to its quality or its hype? I mostly think the success of most things is due to hype. Andy occasionally I am curious enough to test this theory out.  While I’m usually not a sucker for hype, possibly because i’m on of the most difficult people in the world to impress–I actually needed a new mascara so I figured why not give it a go with the supposedly volumizing, separating, non clumping Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara.

The only thing that’s true about this mascara is that it is volumizing, but I couldn’t tell you it’s a spectacular product worth the hype. It’s literally just ok, nothing special. The application is decent, but not worth the bits of clump that occur.  The brush is just a little too big for my liking and seems to clump on the wand right out of the tube.  It does apply somewhat evenly initially but can easily clump up and go hard right away on the lash and then later flake off throughout the day. I’m not so sure I like the formula, it’s not the easiest mascara to get off. The packaging was just about the only thing that I actually liked about this mascara, although even it is starting to flake off in just a month of having it. I’m still on the hunt for the perfect Mascara.
