Black Owned Health + Wellness

Black Owned Health + Wellness

So this is my second day sharing some black owned brands. Today I want to focus on a few in the health and wellness game. In the black community wellness and health education continue to be on the rise as more people within the community seek to provide for a community underserved. Black owners are taking the initiative to improve the health in the black community.

Wellness Inside + Out

Golde are one of those notable brands making their mark in wellness and beauty. From face masks to superfoods blends you can consume, their products not only look good, but will also make you feel good! I’ve seen Golde circulating around the internet for a while but had no idea they were black owned! Nothing is getting me more hyped than the health and wellness game in my community at the moment! It is so important to continuously educate ourselves but also provide products by our own to improve health potential in the black community.

Take Care Of Your Honey Pot

What I love about this next brand The Honey Pot is the focus on natural ingredients to tend to the most sensitive part of the female body. Do you have any idea how much fragrance and toxins most feminine hygiene products actually contain?! When you really think about where you’re using those products and how harmful it could be on your body, it makes you pause. The Honey Pot does a wonderful job using plant based ingredients and I’m genuinely excited to start using them on my honey pot.

Caring For Your Mind + Body + Soul

While I have several noteworthy Black Owned fitness groups I could mention, this one is the most inspiring to me. Black Boys Om, Inc is a movement of wellness practioners that are actively impacting their community by focusing their Yoga practice on young boys and men in the black community and in over 90 locations. I myself have been doing yoga for over a year and a half now maybe longer. I know what an impact it has had on not only my physical state, but definitely my state of mind. It’s a practice that I am happy to see young boys in the black community involved in and I definitely feel that Black Boys Om, Inc needs more praise than I can give!

It is right! I think a lot of the time we tend to overlook feminine health until you start dealing with it so I’m so happy to find cleaner brands!

Yes! I too am a convert now after having discovered them. I just find chemicals so unnecessary for down there 🙂
