One of my favorite trends that always rolls around this time of year is the floral print trend. You can find most clothing boutiques stocked to the ceilings come spring, and don’t even get me started on the countless designers ready and eager to be blooming down the runways with floral-print-clad models. It’s just about the only trend that doesn’t intimidate me.
However, I’m also not incredibly comfortable going full on floral wearing a pant suit ensemble ready to tell the world I’m down with the trend. But I do feel that there are easy ways to incorporate any trend into an outfit you’d otherwise wear anyway. I’ll try to link items where I can, if not the exact pieces than similar ones.
One of my favorite ways to wear floral is with a statement piece that is just the right amount of loud like this Silence + Noise Blazer. It’s the one thing that I don’t wear nearly enough, but still always happy I made that purchase. I love taking a blazer like this and pairing it with some slightly ripped denim shorts to give it a bit of edge. I’m not the girliest girl and love mixing feminine with edge whenever I want that contrast. And while this top isn’t exactly neon it does remind me of that neon pop color trend going around, only not so neon. It’s a bright, but muted pale lavender sort of mesh and somewhat see-through. The lace bralet underneath also a soft lavender color ties in the whole look. The black sandal platforms were also another great purchase and follow suit with one of the most popular trends transitioning into summer of 2017, the platform shoe.

The second outfit is a good example for incorporating lace, floral, and the color black. I love this black lace crop top with a scalloped midrift and I usually would wear a colored bralet underneath whike most would probably wear black. Some simple blue jean shorts and and floral kimono and the shoes and maybe even a choker and you’re ready for Coachella.
Floral Kimono
The last outfit is this feminine floral body-con dress. It’s pretty simple a great color for tan skin which is another thing I look for in a floral dress and it just says flower power. So in short, don’t be afraid of the trends their not as intimidating as they seem and don’t be afraid to manipulate the trends to suit your own sense of style.
