As of late, my skin is looking extra radiant! I’m not gonna lie, I’ve been overdoing it with the face masks. And I’m sure you know why. Quarantine. However, no worries here I do love a good face mask. There’s one that I’ve been repurchasing for years and I thought I’d revisit an old post I did on it. It’s the only face mask that comes to mind when I want my skin to glow.
Glow Up
As you know by now, I always try before I buy. I’m just a commitment-phoebe like that, I absolutely need to love a product before I splurge on it. After having used up several days worth of the Origins RitualiTea Matcha Madness Face Mask sample packet, I had more than enough results to say yes now to a full size container which at $37 a tin—is a little steep, but worth a purchase. The way in which Match is cured, makes it rich and full of antioxidants which is integral for protecting our skin from the pollutants around us. I’ve always believed that there is more to the life source of plants that makes them so alive and vibrant. Antioxidants do the same for skin and this face mask gives me that impression every time I use it.
With a little bit of water added to a teaspoon of the powder, you’ll get a nice creamy consistency. Be sure to add just enough water until the consistency is creamy. At first you may think a a teaspoon isn’t enough for your entire face, but it really is. I like to apply a thin layer of the mask, but I think it’s up to personal preference.. When it dries you should have a comfortable green face. The scent may not be for everyone, but I love it. It reminds me of a matcha latte.
Instant Glow
The instructions are to use this mask twice a week and because I want it to last me a while—I’ll try to keep it to just two a week. However, I will definitely use this whenever I’m looking to get a quick glow.
Leave this mask on for 10-15 minutes and when you rinse off you’re left with glowing, more even toned and textured, radiant skin! I was so shocked the first time I used this mask that I think now I might be obsessed with that post-mask glow! So yes this is the number one mask that I swear by for a more radiant, glowing skin!
