Today’s Self-Care Special To Calm Election Day Stress

If there was ever a day for self-care, today would be that day. Election Day is here and we are all going to need a little bit of calm before the storm. And possibly calm during and after the storm. Today’s blog post mission is threefold: self-care, easing your mental stress, and showing your body love with some luxury bath and body products.

Anybody else feel like you’ve been constantly bombarded with so much information about the election and all you really want to do now is to quiet the noise? Well easing your mind and mitigating Election Day stress is something you can actually do!

In case you didn’t already know it, It’s OK to want to do nothing today. It’s OK to quell any sense of urgency that you might have as well. You’ve done your part, everything else is out of your control. So put the focus back on yourself today if you need to. Take the time to take care of mental and your body today. Today, self-care is of utmost importance.

One of my favorite ways to self-care is by taking an indulgent bath. If you haven’t already checked out The Perfect At-Home Spa To End The Week you should, it’s actually totally relevant and now I’m getting flashbacks of early COVID trauma…I digress.

Luxury Affordable Bath & Body Care Products

There is something so incredibly soothing about taking a warm bath. Anytime I feel mildly overwhelmed, taking a warm bath has a way of silencing my mind. I usually have my candles lit, some meditative music in the background and a cup of tea. However, today’s self-care special is even more of a treat than usual! I recently had the luxury of trying out some incredibly indulgent bath and body products by Janella D.

Let me start off by saying that to know me is to know I love to pamper myself. I’ll start with the Halite Bath Soak in Birce. If you are planning on taking a bath, but don’t necessarily want a bubble bath, then this bath soak is the way to go. Infused with a blend of essential oils and salts full of minerals, it’s easy to to de-stress the mind and the body in no time. I absolutely loved the unique fragrance and the lovely dried rose petals and felt instantly more relaxed the second I stepped into that bath.

Next after my dreamy soak, I scooped up some of the Halite Buffing Scrub in Armeniaca Cacao. I have to say the glistening rosey pink coloring of the scrub was captivating and the scrub itself was absolutely necessary. I am someone who doesn’t usually spend too much time caring for my body the way that I would my face on a day to day basis. After using he Armeniaca Cacao scrub, I definitely want to! I don’t think I’ve felt my skin that soft in years!

After my long and luxurious soak and scrub, I finally got to try the Glacè Body Oil in White Oud. With notes like sandalwood, bergamot, musk, lily and jasmine–I was definitely heady over the scent in the best way. What I love about this body oil is that it actually feels hydrating and moisturizing. My skin felt supple and plump and I feel great knowing that all of the ingredients are actually beneficial for my skin!

The last product, but one that I’ve become a little obsessive about is the Arue Cuticle Oil in White Oud. I just knew I was going to love this scent so I’m glad I got this product in White Oud also! I’ve been using this cuticle oil everyday since my packaged arrived and let me just tell you my nail bed has never looked so good.
